Welcome to the world of Mimi Ullens Foundation !
Within the oncology department
In order to be as effective as possible, the Mimi Ullens Foundation runs well-being centres within hospital oncology departments. An immediate presence in the places where the treatment and care is provided.
Patients go there during the waiting times required by their treatments. A specificity that facilitates the task of looking after patients notably by avoiding multiple journeys.
A "place like home" that is calm and welcoming
The Well-being Centres of the Mimi Ullens Foundation are specifically equipped and decorated to create an atmosphere of relaxation.
Soft light, warm colours, natural materials, traditional furniture... The prime objective is resolutely to tackle the “stressing” atmosphere of the hospital by creating spaces that exude cosiness and a calming atmosphere.
A quality arrangement made possible through the help of the Maison Flamant.
Highly qualified professionals
Understanding the body when it is sick is a profession that requires real knowledge.
The care provided in the Foundation’s centres is delivered by professionals who are specifically trained in supporting patients suffering from cancer.
The professionals of the Mimi Ullens Foundation form part of the medical team. The carers inform them of the patients’ state of health and point out any precautions that need to be taken so that they can work in a way that enables them to show proper respect to the sufferer. In their turn, our teams produce written updates that help towards each patient’s aftercare.
The care provided by the Foundation is deeply appreciated by the medical corps whose members feel reassured to be able to entrust the aftercare of their patients to a team of professionals.
Our assistance thus enables the carers to focus on their main job and work in greater calm, thanks to a reduction in stress.
